Starbuck is what is referred to as a "Fluffy" Cardigan. Most breeders will occasionally produce Fluffy puppies in otherwise quality-packed litters. Since an overly long coat is considered an "extremely serious fault" in the show ring, Fluffies are typically offered as pets only. They make beautiful companions, and require only slightly more frequent brushings (to prevent matting behind the ears, tail and pants area). |
